Be glad...or something like it, for I bring you tidings of disinformation and lies
We have a redhead. With a sword. Any argument you could possibly has been automatically rendered invalid.
Do you know why he did what he did to you? Because he could.

So it is in doubt, and when you look at … I think Democrats wake up every morning and they look at the calendar on the iPhone and it says January 6th, 2021. The date never changes. And then they get into an electric vehicle and go get an abortion.
I just described the Democratic Party in seven seconds! That’s it, that’s what I see.
If you find yourself thinking that it sounds a lot like 1933 again, welcome to the club. If you don’t know what the Hell I’m talking about, you’re part of the millions of Americans Mark Levin and other Trump apologists and propagandists are targeting. Yes, you’re part of the problem.
They want you to think that up is down, left is right, and white is black. They’re trying to convince you that those of us condemning Donald Trump for quoting Adolf Hitler verbatim are the problem, not the man employing Hitler’s hate speech. They want you to believe that we’re trying to put nipple clamps on Trump’s freedom of speech.
Nothing could be further from the truth. I’ve often said here that free speech can be and too often is offensive and objectionable speech- and Trump’s quoting of Hitler is every bit of that. But freedom of speech doesn’t mean speech with no pushback or consequence. It doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want without someone negatively reacting to your words.
If Donald Trump- or anyone else- quotes Adolf Hitler, someone responsible for the murder of six million Jews and more than ten million humans all told- humanity has an implied responsibility to push back on those words.
No one who quotes Hitler and professes love and admiration for dictators should be allowed anywhere near the White House, yet his supporters seem to have no problem with his words. They seem to swallow whatever he says as if they were pearls of wisdom from a god-like creature.
If you’ve ever trolled the swamps of Truth Social (which I don’t recommend), you’d understand the number of ignorant and highly propagandized loons who view Trump as that god-like creature. It’s as distressing as it is disgusting, but this is what we’re up against.
So riling up a crowd that then descended on the Capitol, rioted, killed five people, did millions in damage, and came damned close to overthrowing our government is somehow “PEACEFULLY & PATRIOTICALLY” doing….???
And Joe Biden’s an “insurrectionist?” The person who’s never spoken a word advocating for violent revolution, who’s followed the law, and allowed for the process to play out until he was declared the lawfully elected President-elect? THAT “insurrectionist?”
Funny; I don’t recall anyone dying from anything Joe Biden did in the run-up to Inauguration Day. Did I miss something??
I’ll save you the trouble of going to Townhall.com, which is about as “fair and balanced” as Fox News. Mark Levin is trying to create a controversy over the President’s response to a simple question:
The man speaks the truth. Donald Trump wanted to go to the Capitol but was stopped by his Secret Service detail. If you don’t believe me, listen to Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony before the January 6th committee. He tried to wrest control of the steering wheel from the driver of the Presidential vehicle but was prevented from doing so.
They Secret Service hauled his ample orange ass back to the White House, where he watched the televised (almost) revolution with some considerable glee.
Beyond that, there’s no doubt that his speech was intended to rile up the crowd and send them off to the Capitol. Once Trump was back in the White House, he proudly was the insurrection unfold. Not only did he support an insurrection, he instigated it. There’s no question about it.
So whatever “controversy” Mark Levin might want to create is silly. America saw what Donald Trump did, and the country saw what happened at the Capitol. All of that stemmed from Trump firing up his supporters.
President Biden pulled no punches when discussing the insurrection during a campaign fundraiser:
[W]hen the news of the Colorado decision broke, Biden repeated his claim about the threat he believes Trump poses.
"I want to talk about what I think is even more at stake in this next election: literally the future of American democracy. And it makes everything possible. Let me be clear: Donald Trump poses many threats to the country, from the right to choose to civil rights to voting rights to America’s standing in the world," Biden said. "The greatest threat Trump poses is to our democracy. Because if we lose, we lose everything. When I first ran for president, I said democracy was at stake in America. I think a lot of people, particularly the press, thought I was exaggerating. But they don't think that anymore."
No one should think that Joe Biden was exaggerating then, and he’s not exaggerating now. If anything, the threat posed by Trump and his followers is even more profound.
And Orange Jesus has plenty of lawyers on his side who are willing to ignore the 14th Amendment:
I’m old enough to remember when Jonathan Turley was a reasonable, somewhat honest attorney and law professor. Then…well, I don’t know…maybe the Russians caught him in flagrante delicto with the Georgetown Junior High School Volleyball team. So now he’s flogging the law for Donald Trump and telling Joe Biden how to be a “statesman.”
It would appear that Turley has chosen to ignore the 14th Amendment to demand the President “think of the next generation and oppose this insidious ruling.”
Mr. Turley, I suggest you read Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. It’s pretty unambiguous, and it’s language makes it clear that Donald Trump is ineligible to run for President by virtue of having instigated an insurrection against the government. Not even a lawyer can make a hash of that language.
You can thank me later. In the meantime, enjoy this meme of a redhead with a sword.
You know, Jon (can I call you Jon, ‘cuz I feel like your sloppy legal interpretations make you just like me..you know, the History major with no J.D.?), I’m not sure when the worms ate your brain or what the Russians have on you (it must be EPIC). I suspect you know that the 14th Amendment, as I recall, prevents those who’ve engaged in an insurrection against the government from running for President.
So why should President Biden overlook that reality and give Donald Trump a free pass?
Don’tcha just LOVE it when Trumpers play the “think about the future” card, like they care about that future…even as they’re busily working to trash the present?
“Think about the future…” as we pull a fast one on you here today. Thanks, man; I may have been born at night but it sure as Hell wasn’t last night.
Yeah, it’s like they think we’re just stupid enough to fall for that.
(Oh, I particularly loved this part at the bottom of the Townhall.com article. It was SUCH a nice touch.
Editor’s Note: America won’t survive another four years of a Democrat President. We must take back the White House.
Isn’t that just SO cute??)

Trump is not just ineligible to run for President, he is ineligible to BE President.
