I suspect there may have been a time when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott was a kind, decent, compassionate human being and not the power-hungry, careerist, racist reptile he’s devolved into. I’m trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but the more I think about it, the more I find myself thinking…why?
