Have you ever wondered what it is that makes Republicans such assholes? What makes them hateful, disrespectful, self-superior, holier-than-thou buttheads? Why is it so difficult to let people be who they are? Do they find it threatening to their sense of who they are? Are they afraid they’ll be recruited against their will and become everything they fear in themselves?

I understand that they don’t like the idea of transgender people. I get that they don’t like transgender people. What I don’t understand is WHY. Every transgender person I’ve ever known has, more than anything, just wanted to be left alone so they could live their life genuinely and authentically.
