Nah, It Was Only The 2023 "Very Fine People" Convention At Disney World
Nothing to see here, folks...no Nazis here...pay no mind to the Nazi flags....
Wow…Mama must be SO proud….
You want to know what I'm afraid of? All right, I'll tell you. I'm afraid of men - yes, I'm very much afraid of men. And I'm even more afraid of women. And I'm very much afraid of the whole bloody human race. Afraid of them? Of course I'm afraid of them. Who wouldn't be afraid of a pack of damned hyenas? [...] And when I say afraid - that's just a word I use. What I really mean is that I hate them. I hate their voices, I hate their eyes, I hate the way they laugh. I hate the whole bloody business. It's cruel, it's idiotic, it's unspeakably horrible. I never had the guts to kill myself or I'd have got out of it long ago.

I may not know much, but there’s one thing I can guaran-damn-tee you, and that’s that there are two things in this life drop-deap-certain to ensure that you NEVER get laid in this lifetime. The first is to show up anywhere with a Confederate flag in any form
The second- and I cannot stress this enough- is to show up anywhere in the USofA with a Nazi flag and/or with Nazi regalia.
That says a few things that emphasize the reality that you probably sleep in your mom’s basement, are still a virgin, and are unlikely every to get laid and- God forbid- reproduce.
Because…
You’re too stupid for words.
You have no sense of history.
You slept through the part where Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich exterminated six million Jews and a few million other “undesirables.”
You’re a White supremacist.
You disrespect Jews, the LGBTQ community, Liberals, Democrats, Packers fans, and pretty much anyone not like you.
Did I mention that you’re too stupid for words? I might have, but it’s worth mentioning again.
All of the above.
Over the weekend, a few of Floriduh’s finest (Nazis) showed up outside Disney World in Orlando. Why? Who the Hell knows? They were flying swastika banners and Ron DeSantis 2024 flags, which is Far-Right code for “I’m phenomenally f*****g stupid, I don’t care who knows it, and I don’t anticipate being with a woman. EVER.”
A Florida state legislator posted video and images on her social media showing several individuals waving Nazi flags and banners with fascist symbols outside Walt Disney World in Orlando.
Anna Eskamani, who represents parts of the Orlando region in the Florida House of Representatives, posted brief clips on Saturday showing the shocking display from Friday, calling it “absolutely disgusting.”
Shannon Watts, an anti-gun activist, also posted an image which appeared to show the same group of protesters holding up homophobic signs.
Nearby was a banner touting the presidential campaign of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
“Two dozen white supremacists are outside the main Disney World entrance in Orlando right now, marching with signs featuring Gov DeSantis’s face, swastikas, the n-word and homophobic slurs,” Watts tweeted.
“This is the 2023 Republican Party.”
Yes, Virginia…this is AmeriKKKa. And the Republican Party. In 2023. Mother must be just BEAMING with pride, NO?
Do these knuckle-dragging moral reprobates have any idea what they’re advocating for? Or is Nazism just a cool way for them to attract attention to themselves?
Yeah, try explaining that one at your next job interview….
There’s no way to overestimate the degree of sheer, unmitigated stoopid required to put on a display like this.
Did these fools think they were going to win over hearts and minds? Or were they hell-bent on convincing America what an intellectual and moral cesspool Floriduh has become. I don’t know about you, but I’m going with door #2.
On Saturday afternoon, a bunch of neo-Nazis decided to stand in front of the entrance to Walt Disney World waving Nazi flags and Ron DeSantis flags, shouting "Go back to Mexico!"….
While it's possible that the neo-Nazis chose to demonstrate at Disney World so that they could take a ride on the Tea Cups after a long day spent yelling racial slurs at tourists, it seems a lot more likely that they chose it because of the ongoing feud between DeSantis and the Mouse. For the past year or so, DeSantis has been striking out at Disney after the company, which employs nearly 500,000 Floridians, came out against his insidious "Don't Say Gay Bill." Given the fact that Orlando tourism — which, let's be real, is Disney tourism — generates approximately $75 billion for the state's economy and $5 billion in tax revenue, this was probably not the smartest move. But DeSantis isn't that swift and neither are Nazis.
In the replies to Eskaman's post, there are approximately a bajillion people claiming that the Nazis are actually FBI Agents doing an anti-DeSantis "false flag," despite the fact that several have already been identified.
Evidently, the goons behind the Nazi protest didn’t make it terribly difficult for Internet sleuths to identify them. It seems none of them are smart enough to do much of anything to conceal their identities.
Accordingly, they’re being shamed- and deservedly so- all over da Interwebz.
There’s no way to overstate how intellectually deficient these moral reprobates are.
Yep…dumbasses gonna dumbass, whether in Texas or Floriduh- and guys like Ronald Murray, Jr., are just dumb enough to believe they’re pretty smart. They’re poster children for the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
You might find yourself wondering why a motley crew of Nazis would support Ron DeSantis for President, but it makes more sense than you might think. Gov. DeSantis has spent the past few years turning the Sunshine State into his kingdom. His power is virtually unquestioned, and little happens at any level of government without his knowledge and/or approval.
Now he wants to make America a larger version of Floriduh…maybe without the Nazi flags, but if that’s what it takes to get him into power, he’ll accept help from whatever quarter it comes. He can dump the Nazis when and/or if they become inconvenient…if that even ever becomes an issue, which seems unlikely.
[W]hat is it that they think neo-Nazis would find unappealing about Ron DeSantis? Maybe the fact that he's not an Aryan, but they like Mussolini, Pinochet and Franco well enough, so I'd have to imagine that DeSantis would also get a pass. Certainly they wouldn't have any policy disagreements with him. He hates immigrants, they hate immigrants. He wants to oppress LGBTQ+ people, they want to oppress LGBTQ+ people.
It's also pretty hard to put anything past the Right, given the fact that no small number of right wing Twitter users and, uh, Twitter owners, had some mighty high praise yesterday for ... the Unabomber.
You shouldn’t be surprised. If Conservatives will defend The Former Guy to their dying breath, it shouldn’t come as a shock when they’re practically canonizing Ted Kaczynski.
Yep, that’s today’s GOP all right.
This is what happens when one of America’s two major parties has no platform, no ideas, and no moral core. The GOP cares only about political power, and they have no preference as to how that’s achieved- violently, at the ballot box, it matters not at all to them. They want political power, preferably durable to the point of permanence.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Nazis have protested in the Orlando area in support of DeSantis, and the Governor has previously issued a non-denial denial sort of/maybe/not quite rebuking them.
You never know when they might come in handy for the Governor.
Maybe the Nazis just like the climate?
DeSantis has had to address neo-Nazi demonstrations in Orlando before, including back in 2022 when group of neo-Nazis lined a bridge in eastern Orange County, hanging the swastika flag and banners — including a banner with the pro-Donald Trump slogan “Let’s Go Brandon” — and yelling profanities and antisemitic slurs at passing cars.
He was more concerned with Democrats talking about the issue in remarks after the fact.
“So what I’m going to say is these people, these Democrats who are trying to use this as some type of political issue to try to smear me as if I had something to do with it, we’re not playing their game,” DeSantis said back in 2022.
“Some jackasses doing this on the street, first of all, state law enforcement is going to hold them accountable because they were doing stuff on the overpass. So they’re absolutely going to do that, and they should do that,” DeSantis added before going back on the political counteroffensive.
“But I’m not going to have people try to smear me who belong to a political party that has elevated antisemites to the halls of Congress,” DeSantis said, singling out Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
In a tweet posted after the incident and later deleted, press secretary Christina Pushaw responded to Twitter outrage over the Orlando Nazi demonstration by asking, “Do we even know they’re Nazis?”
Pushaw then sought to clarify that statement. “I don’t know what you mean by ‘denying Nazis.’ I was referring to this event in VA, when a group of Democrats dressed up as White supremacists to discredit a (Glenn) Youngkin rally,” she told Florida Politics at the time.
Similar demonstrations including Nazi regalia and pro-DeSantis flags recurred in 2022.
DeSantis, of course, isn’t about to turn down support from anyone given the current sorry state of his Presidential campaign. He’s not going to publicly embrace Nazis, and he’s certainly not going to allow pictures to be taken with them, but he knows how important they can be to getting out the vote for him in the primaries, when the wacko vote carries far more weight.
Truthfully, NONE of the GOP candidates are in a position to be moralizing about where there support comes from. Each of them needs every vote, regardless of the ideological purity (or lack of same) of those casting them. Nazi? Anti-vaxxers? Gun nuts? Every vote counts at this point, and every candidate is willing to accept a vote regardless of its provenance.
Ideological purity, after all, is for losers and Liberals.
Still, you have to wonder about a party that welcomes people with ties to neoNazis and those who honor the Unabomber. What’s next, people who think Timothy McVeigh got a raw deal? Or that Ted Bundy was misunderstood by women? Or perhaps even that Dylann Roof’s mistake was in going to church with the victims before he shot them in Charleston, SC?
You can think like that when you believe that the world is rightfully the purview and playground of wealthy White Conservative Christian heterosexuals.
And when you devalue the lives of those who don’t look, act, think, believe, live, and/or love as you do. That’s pretty reprehensible…but such is that state of today’s GOP- a party with no morals, conscience, ideas, or soul.
This is AmeriKKKa in 2023.
"Ideological purity, after all, is for losers and Liberals." -- a point that Robert O. Paxton makes in "The Anatomy of Fascism," (terrific book, by the way) is that fascism has no ideology, nor any sort of principled program. When situations changed, both the Italian and German fascists happily jettisoned supposedly "inviable" planks in their political "platform". That's because fascism isn't about ideas, it is about achieving absolute, hegemonic domination.
