No one is above the law, but some know how to manipulate it to their benefit
Lord Stumblefuck may be no one's Nobel Laureate, but he knows how to manipulate our judicial system
I know; the above picture is just about enough to make you swear off sex forever, right? Just trying to purge that image of the orange shitgibbon during perfectly natural acts of sexual congress might prove to be a tall order, and for that, I apologize profusely.
I use it only because, for reasons known only to the prosecution, some lawyer thought it would be a FABULOUS idea to put Stephanie Clifford (Stormy Daniels) on the stand to testify regarding her sexual encounter with one Donald J. Diaperfull.
I can think of few acts more distasteful to discuss than what poor Ms. Clifford had to endure in having intercourse with Lord Stumblefuck. First, there was the “Yeah, the last time I saw something that small, it had an eraser on the end of it” problem. Then there was the description she’s used in the past of his “member’s” head looking like a mushroom. Of course, that would elicit the obvious question, “What kind of mushroom?”
As if anyone truly wants (or needs) to know.
But, as
relays, this all ties in with Donald Trump’s sick, twisted views of himself as some sort of Lothario:Little Donny Fuckface imagines himself to be a lot of things he’s not. he’s a low-wattage imbecile who thinks he’s the smartest person who ever lived. he’s a lifelong failure who believes he’s the savviest businessman ever. he’s an out-of-shape slug who pictures himself to be the apex of masculinity.
to that we can add a disgusting pig who fancies himself the sexiest man alive.
The truth is that he’s a sexual predator- always has been and always will be. Women to him are playthings, conquests, and notches in his bedposts. Once he gets them into his bed and has his way with them, he’s done with them—unless he thinks he can string them along and extract more pleasure from them. But for a narcissistic sociopath like himself, it’s always about what he can get from it, never about the woman.
It’s all very transactional and about what he can get out of it. Even his marriages are for show; his wives are less companions than trophies he can display to elicit envy from other men.
The sad part is that the story about Ms. Clifford’s sexual encounter with Lord Stumblefuck, while lurid, was rather pathetic. It’s nothing we haven’t heard before; it was over quickly, and my only question is, “Why?”
Ms. Clifford certainly didn’t claim she was sexually assaulted or raped. She did say that the sex (missionary) was over quickly and that she wished she was somewhere else the entire time. So why did Ms. Clifford agree to it in the first place? If all it involved was a few pumps and a grunt (Trump didn’t even wear a condom), what did she get out of it?
It isn’t easy to know, of course. It was 2006. She was 27 at the time, he was 60. As she said during her testimony, there was a power imbalance. This sort of cowardice makes sense because men like Trump couldn’t get laid if they had to deal with women on a level playing field.
this is who Donald Trump is — pure slime. women are objects to be conquered. say anything, do anything — just so long as you score. in the Access Hollywood tape, he brags about grabbing women by the pussy — something her certainly did to E. Jean Carroll in that Bergdorf’s dressing room.
Allison Gill succinctly wraps up what happened in that hotel room.
“I think it’s important that we don’t miss what Stormy is testifying to. He invited her to dinner. There was no dinner. She wanted to leave. He stood between her and the door. He told her that her career and future depended on her having sex with him. He didn’t use a condom. That’s not consensual sex.”
Sadly, I’m old enough to remember when just being photographed with a woman who isn’t your wife sitting on your lap was enough to end your political career and Presidential aspirations (for a Democrat, of course).
Ah, Gary Hart, ya coulda been somebody.
Oh…remember this guy, also a Democrat?
While Republicans were happy to see Sens. Hart and Edwards hung by their testicles (figuratively, of course), they have serious philosophical problems with allowing Lord Stumblefuck to be “persecuted” by the American judicial system.
They’re a “threat” to the rule of law, don’tchaknow?
Washington DC - House Speaker Mike Johnson has vowed to use every ounce of his power in Congress to rescue Donald Trump from the various criminal trials he is facing while running for re-election.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Johnson played defense by pitching Trump's unfounded claim that all the legal battles he's currently facing are "orchestrated by Democrats" and President Joe Biden's administration.
"It has to stop. And you're gonna see the United States Congress address this in every possible way that we can because we need accountability," Johnson explained.
"Ultimately, at the end of the day, it's bigger than President Trump," he continued. "It's about the people's faith in our system of justice. And we're gonna get down to the bottom of it.
"All these cases need to be dropped because they are a threat to our system."
No, they’re not a threat to our system, not if Trump legitimately committed crimes, which is what these trials will determine. What Conservatives are condemning as “lawfare” is what brought down Sens. Hart and Edwards—though, in Gary Hart’s case, there were no actual crimes committed. John Edwards did the same thing Donald Trump did, and he paid the price for it. To say that Trump is somehow immune from accountability when the only difference is that he’s a Republican is absurd—but typical of the GOP.
None of the cases against Donald Trump would have been brought absent sufficient evidence to secure indictments. Whether or not there’s sufficient evidence to indict him in any of the cases remains to be seen. That’s what trials are for, but for the Republican Speaker of the House to claim that Lord Stumblefuck is being persecuted is absurd.
The only person threatened by these cases is Donald Trump, who’s heavily invested in delaying as many of them as possible until after the election. If he wins, he can make the federal cases disappear. If any state cases against him result in convictions, Trump wouldn’t have to serve those sentences while President. Since he’ll almost certainly be Supreme Dictator for Life by then, jail sentences in state courts won’t be an issue.
If Trump wins on November 6th—and that remains a big “if”—accountability will effectively be off the table. If he loses, he may well see the inside of a jail cell in Georgia or New York State at some point in time. Or perhaps even a federal penitentiary.
A boy can dream, no?
Sadly, justice delayed is justice denied, particularly for a Republican who has the resources to pit the system against itself. Donny Diaperfull may have the IQ of an oat milk latte, but he’s cunning enough to know how to play the legal system. And, for whatever reason, there are plenty of corrupt and unscrupulous Republicans willing to go to the mat for him. What they’re getting out of it is anyone’s guess.

The reason for putting Ms. Clifford on the stand was to demolish the claims that Trump was an innocent dupe in an alleged blackmail plot which others took it upon themselves to pay off. Clifford established that there was an encounter and that Trump had genuine motivation for making the illegal payoffs. So while the payoffs are the real issue in the case, Clifford's testimony goes to motive.
It also provided the defense with ample opportunity to put their gross incompetence on full display. They tried to play "Perry Mason" (or maybe Tom Cruise's character from "A Few Good Men") and get Clifford to lose her shit on the stand. All they achieved, though, was prove that she was an intelligent, strong, and credible witness, qualities which they in turn proved themselves to be entirely lacking. I mean, some of their questions just beggar the imagination! It is LAWYER 101 stuff: never ask a question you don't already know the answer to.
