Sometimes the best person to stand up to a bully is a woman. This is because there’s no testosterone involved. They have nothing to prove (or to lose), and they have no intention of getting involved in a dick-swinging contest.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been the target of death threats, assassination plots, and the impotent rage of The Former Guy. Yet, despite all of that, she’s carried on. At least in the public realm, none of the bullshit has appeared to materially impact her. She seems to understand that if she gives the bullies ANY indication they’re getting to her, things will instantly become that much worse for her.
