Today's Worst Person In World: Kyle Rittenhouse
You Murder Two People And Suddenly Your $#!& Doesn't Stink?
Whether you choose to refer to Kyle Rittenhouse as a murderer or not, the facts seem pretty clear. He showed up in Kenosha, WI- a town he doesn’t live in- borrowed a weapon of war, and shot three people. Two of those people died. So, yeah, murder, she wrote. The fact that he claimed self-defense and was acquitted doesn’t mean he was innocent. It was a travesty, a miscarriage of justice that could only happen to a White defendant.
Once Rittenhouse was acquitted, he became a darling of the Far-Right, who have treated him as if he’s a conquering hero, not someone who ended the lives of two innocent people because he felt “threatened.”
Rittenhouse is still only 19, but all the attention has him feeling as if he’s far more important than he actually is. Listen to him for more than two or three minutes, and you’ll probably conclude, as I have, that he’s far too entitled and not terribly intelligent. He should be pumping gas and finishing his first year at East Bumfuck Technical College and Fashion Academy.
The funniest part of Rittenhouse’s “fame” is his belief that he deserves an audience with Joe Biden, whom he believes has defamed him. And he, a 19-year-old, still-wet-behind-the-ears, snot-nosed spoiled brat, has the chutzpah to question Biden’s manhood.
I was attacked. I was 17 years old. I was attacked and had to defend myself. I’m not a racist. I’m not a white supremacist. I’m not a domestic terrorist. I’m not a murderer. And anyone who wants to sit down and have a conversation, I’m more than open. I reached out to Joe Biden several times. Crickets. Nothing. He still hasn’t replied. So it just shows how much of a man he is to not sit down and talk to a 19-year-old.
It’s difficult to know on what grounds Rittenhouse is basing his belief that he deserves an answer from an audience with the President. The only thing of note he’s done is murder two people and get away with it. That’s not the sort of thing that normally warrants an automatic invitation to the Oval Office. Ah, but what do I know?
As for the President “not returning” Rittenhouse’s phone calls, what allows him to feel he’s so important that the most powerful person in the world is obliged to call him back? I can’t think of a 19-year-old I would call back immediately, and I suspect President Biden has a bit more on his plate than I do.
Perhaps the most hilarious aspect of Rittenhouse’s overcooked sense of entitlement is his declaration that he’s going to sue those celebrities whom he feels have defamed him. Yeah, he might want to rethink that.
The problem that Rittenhouse is going to run into is that as a “public figure” (I had to make sure I didn’t spew anything over my keyboard as I typed that), he has a pretty high bar when it comes to proving defamation. And expressed opinions generally don’t come close to that bar. The bottom line is that our spoiled murderous problem child is going to waste a lot of other people’s money on legal fees, only to get slapped down. More likely is that he be laughed out of court for filing nuisance suits.
In order for Rittenhouse to have a valid defamation claim, he has to be able to prove that someone had actual malice, that a statement is false or was made with reckless disregard for the truth. He’s claimed that Joe Biden has defamed his character because Biden called him a “White supremacist.” That this never happened seems not to matter to Rittenhouse, who seems determined to get justice.
Hey, if you hang around with the Proud Boys, you can’t claim to be surprised or upset when people begin to think that you might be a White supremacist, knowhutimean? Your friends say a lot about you…which is a lesson that our 19-year-old murderer seems not to have learned.
I’ll leave the question of Kyle Rittenhouse’s alleged racism up to those who actually care about such issues. There are two things I am certain of, however. One is that he has no basis to believe he deserves an audience with President Biden. The man has enough on his plate without wasting time on an entitled, self-important teenager with self-esteem issues.
The second is that Kyle Rittenhouse is a murderer. Yes, he was acquitted, but that doesn’t mean he’s innocent, merely that Wisconsin’s legal system is something of a joke. Two people died because of Rittenhouse’s actions; he shot them deliberately and without cause. That makes him a murderer by my definition if not in the eyes of the State of Wisconsin.
Rittenhouse should be grateful that he got off for something he actually is guilty of. And he should take that as a cue to disappear and fade from public view before the families of his victims decide to sue him. He may not be so lucky in a civil case.
I don’t care what he thinks or if he feels defamed: Kyle Rittenhouse is a murderer. Of that, there should be NO doubt.

There are so many factual inaccuracies in this article it's hard to know where to begin. Kyle may not have lived in Kenosha, but he worked there and his father lived there. He had every right to consider it "his" community and want to defend it.
He didn't "borrow a weapon of war". The gun was being kept in Kenosha by his friend until he turned 18. Without getting into Kenosha's legal code, it was legal for him to carry it when he did. (Because of the length of the barrel it was classified as a "hunting rifle."
He did not "end the lives of two innocent people because he felt threatened". Rosebaum was a mental patient who was charged with interfering with 5 boys. He was also clearly off his head that night and kept shouting "Shoot me! Shoot me!" as the video shows. Huber first tried to brain Kyle with his skateboard, a potentially lethal weapon, and then wrest the rifle away from him, which of course would have left him defenseless and at the mercy of several attackers. Kyle had no choice but to use the rifle.
As for him being "the darling of the far right", he can hardly be held responsible for what others think of him. And intelligence? He's a normal 18 year old. He thinks boobs are great. So what? He wasn't acquitted for his intelligence. And as for Biden, I don't know why he wants to talk to a senile old man. He'll get no sense out of Biden.
Oh yes, and as for him being unable to prove defamation because he's a public figure, he was not a public figure when the defamation took place, so that's moot.
"Kyle Rittenhouse is a murderer. Of that, there should be NO doubt." Well, there was obviously doubt in at least 12 people's minds. And they at least examined all the evidence.
