Yes, Paul Gosar is a white supremacist. He also voted against honoring 1/6 police officers, climate change denier, promotes corporate welfare & protections, votes against every legislation to make Americans stronger & safer & much more.
Imagine, if you can, a political animal so thoroughly objectionable, so devoid of basic human kindness and compassion, that even his own family feels compelled to reject him publicly.
Now imagine that this sad excuse for humanity is a Republican Congressman representing Arizona’s 4th Congressional district. Honestly, it takes no imagination at all. We’re talking about Paul Gosar, who’s to decency, integrity, and inclusion what Kim Jong-un is to human rights in North Korea.
I know little about Gosar’s background or personal history…because, frankly, who gives a damn about someone devoid of honor, dignity, and even the barest shred of compassion?
Imagine being such a horrible and thoroughly awful human being that your own family has participated in a campaign ad against you? Not that Paul Gosar appears to care about his family; he long ago sold his soul to whatever source of evil offered him the highest rate of return.
Paul Gosar is the modern-day incarnation of Joe McCarthy.
In 1954, the Boston lawyer Joseph Welch famously asked Wisconsin Republican Sen. Joseph McCarthy, “At long last, sir, have you left no sense of decency?” It was a question that marked the beginning of the end for McCarthy’s madness, and the senator died a disgraced and despised opportunist.
We now ask our brother, Rep. Paul Gosar, that same question. Although his colleagues in Congress and others in the media seem to only recently be paying attention, we have been aware of his unhinged behavior for years. We are therefore not surprised to see him heading down a very similar path to McCarthy's.
So, have you no sense of decency, Paul?
This makes the numerous issues I’ve had with my own family over the years look like a Cub Scout picnic. When your own family can and does, with no sense of irony or hyperbole, compare you to one of the worst red-baiters in American history…yeah, you’re a crappy human being.
I’d wager that Thanksgiving and Christmas in the Gosar family are either seriously entertaining or very, very chilly. Sadly, Paul Gosar almost certainly isn’t high on anyone’s Christmas card list.
How much does Paul Gosar’s family despise the miserable, shriveled husk of humanity he’s degraded into? Well, it’s best to let his family address him directly:
It seems, in fact, that you are immune to shame. In addition to betraying your family and causing irreparable damage to the relationships within it, you decided to betray your country by helping incite the Jan. 6 domestic terrorist attack on the Capitol.
For starters, you repeatedly lied about the election results and achieved the deplorable distinction of being the congressman with the most tweets devoted to election lies and instigating the riot. Then you helped organize the “Stop the Steal” rallies with Ali Alexander while calling President Joe Biden a “usurper” who stole the election and was engaged in a “coup,” challenging crowds to “take the Hill” and saying “sedition and treason for stealing votes is appropriate.” You ended your “Open Letter to Arizona” by calling on supporters to “be ready to defend the Constitution and the White House.” Finally, you lied on the floor of Congress and falsely claimed that hundreds of thousands of Arizona ballots had been deliberately switched from former President Donald Trump to Biden — a statistic you most certainly knew to be a complete lie.
But just as shocking, you are now trying to gaslight everyone by claiming Ashli Babbitt was somehow an innocent bystander as she attempted to smash her way into the hallway right outside the chamber where you were hiding, having only moments before lied about the election.
In fact, your lies helped delay the Capitol Police from clearing the chamber, and this delay led at least in part to the officer’s decision to shoot Babbitt to protect you. And now you have the gall to blame those men and women who protected you for her death. Disgracefully, you even voted against awarding commendations to those who risked their lives to protect yours? You, one of the key big lie proponents and key instigators of the insurrection? Have you left no sense of decency?
Paul Gosar long ago abandoned whatever may have remained of his soul and sense of decency when he hitched his star to Donald Trump’s wagon of shame and dishonesty. He’s proven himself willing to stoop to any depth, tell any lie, and/or engage in whatever gratuitous character assassination he’s deemed necessary to advance his agenda and political career.
There are no standards, no integrity, no honor, and certainly no honesty standing in Gosar’s way. This has allowed him to lie, cheat, and steal in pursuit of whatever goal he happens to be chasing. That all of this has happened at the cost of his relationship with his family seems to bother him not at all.
Ambition uber Alles, eh??
To be certain, there’s little doubt that Paul Gosar is a truly awful human being. That his family has called him out for being a miserable and disgraceful ball of hate speaks volumes. There’s little anyone could add to the portrait painted by those who know him best.

More than anything, I feel sorry for the guy. Imagine going through life devoid of kindness and compassion. Imagine possessing a heart roughly the same texture and color as a lump of coal. What a miserable, joyless existence that must be…but it’s the world Paul Gosar enthusiastically calls home.
How could someone who at one point was almost certainly a loving and compassionate individual become someone who is most definitely NOT those things. How does one foreswear integrity, honesty, and honor in favor of lying, cheating, hating, stealing, and discriminating his way to the top?
So, have you no sense of decency, Paul?
Clearly, the answer to that question has long been a resounding “NO!” How sad that a man can see his way clear to sell his soul's remains to satisfy his political ambition.
I’m going to assume that there was a point in his life when Paul Gosar’s intentions weren’t colored by animus and intolerance. Surely, there must have been a spark of decency and compassion somewhere within him. Unfortunately, someone or something extinguished that spark somewhere along the line, and Gosar went over to the Dark Side to become a servant of Donald Trump and the Big Lie.
You can do that when you have no sense of decency.
