There are a few sure things in life- death, taxes, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) being a spineless, self-promoting weasel, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) having the morals and ethics of Josef Mengele. Not that the junior senator from the Lone Star State being anything but a self-absorbed dickhead should come as a shock to any sentient biped, but Cruz has been particularly disreputable of late.
