From the “Say, Whatever Happened to the Separation of Church and State?” Department comes the tale of Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) issuing a proclamation to honor the “Re-Covenanting Ceremony & Gala Dinner Reception.”

That the event featured some of the American Taliban’s “finest” was no doubt not lost on Youngkin, who’s been doing a good deal of sucking up to the Rabid Religious Right during his term. He has a sizable debt to repay.
