To call Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) stupid would be overly simplistic and a grievous insult to stupid people. No, Rep. Jordan is SO much more than stupid. He’s a chaos agent who’d do virtually anything to serve the interests of The Former Guy (TFG). Honestly, if TFG asked Rep. Jordan to ritually disembowel himself on the floor of the House, Jordan would ask if having a quorum present was a prerequisite.

To say that Rep. Jordan is someone who knows no shame would be something of an understatement. He proceeds from the assumption that the American Sheeple are phenomenally and deeply stupid and that they’re incapable of discerning reality from Right-wing propaganda. And so he chairs the House Injudicious Committee, which he’s used as a forum to point out how the Biden Crime Family has weaponized the Justice Department against TFG.

Right….

It should come as no surprise to anyone who knows anything at all about Rep. Jordan that ALL of his hearings are little more than multiple hours of ill-informed, shouty verbal masturbation. It’s bad Right-wing kabuki theater intended for the stupid and easily propagandized.

It’s a forum for Jordan to shout, to whine, to spout conspiracy theories at full volume, all while Democrats on the committee desperately try to remain awake and refrain from laughing.

To refer to Rep. Jordan as a dim bulb in a bright room would be pretty close to nailing it. The man’s a few fries short of a Happy Meal, if you know what I mean.

Actually, AG Garland was more of a verbal pincushion than a “victim.” His role was to play the foil while Rep. Jordan launched into his ritualistic Airing of the Grievances ©, which were legion. They always are, though they’re seldom based on facts or evidence. In most cases, they’re purely conspiracies, lies, half-truths, and/or pure, unadulterated bullshit.

So Jordan ranted ineffectually, as is his wont, and while Democrats did their best to mitigate the silliness, it was largely the Jim Jordan Show. Of course, anyone with half a functional brain knew what the Congressman from Planet Q Ohio was doing, but he’s the committee chairman, so it’s his circus and his monkeys.

Of course, Jordan and other Republicans on Capitol Hill are shocked that Hunter Biden’s still has human and constitutional rights and that he’s not hanging by his testicles at a CIA black site in rural Uzbekistan.

If Hunter’s last name wasn’t “Biden,” he probably wouldn’t have been treated as harshly as he has been, but that’s still not enough for Republicans. They want him stripped naked, covered in raw honey, and staked to a fire ant bed in west Texas…on ESPN the Ocho.

And then there’s the rest of the “Biden Crime Family” that Jordan is convinced must be brought to justice. If only Rep. Jordan and his justice hunters could find the evidence they need to nail the bastards.

Hmm…could it be there’s no evidence because there are no crimes? Nah, the whole Biden family’s as crooked as a $3 bill. Jordan knows it…and he desperately wants to impeach the President and prove it. If TFG says Joe Biden is the most corrupt President in this nation’s history…well, then he’s the most corrupt President in this nation’s history. All Jordan needs to do is to find evidence to prove it.

Because TFG is NEVER wrong.

Rep. Steaming Pantload of Hypocrisy and Bullshit was subpoenaed by the House January 6th committee…and refused to appear. So, when Rep. Steaming Pantload of Hypocrisy and Bullshit starts talking about respect for the rule of law and other such meaningless crap, we should remember the hypocrisy of his words.

“I expect others to follow the law…but I don’t have to hold myself to the same standards.”

And when it was the turn of Rep. Eric Swalwell (R-CA) to have a moment behind the microphone, he burned Rep. Steaming Pantload of Hypocrisy and Bullshit something fierce as he left the room. Rep. Steaming Pantload of Hypocrisy and Bullshit knew what was coming, and he wasn’t about to stick around for it.

“Mister Attorney General, my colleague just said that you should be held in contempt of Congress, and that is quite rich, because the guy who is leaving the hearing room right now, Mr. Jordan, is about 500 days into evading his subpoena — about 500 days. so if we’re going to talk about contempt of Congress, let’s get real.

“I mean, are you serious that Jim Jordan — a witness to one of the greatest crimes ever committed in America — a crime where more prosecutions have occurred than any crime committed in America — refuses to help his country, and we’re going to get lectured about subpoena compliance and contempt of Congress? Jim Jordan won’t even honor a lawful subpoena — are you kidding me? are you kidding me? there’s no credibility on that side.

“Mr. Attorney General, you are serious. they are not. you are decent. they are not. you are fair. they are not. so I welcome you to the law firm of Insurrection LLP, where they work every single day on behalf of one client: Donald Trump. and they do that at the expense of millions of Americans who need the government to stay open, who want their kids safe in their schools, and would like to see Ukraine stay in the fight, so that we don’t help Russia.

Thank you, Rep. Swalwell, for so succinctly and eloquently summing up the hypocrisy of Rep. Steaming Pantload of Hypocrisy and Bullshit. Jordan, who refuses to honor a lawful subpoena because he’s too frightened of what he might be forced to reveal, has no problem berating others for failing to meet the requirement to appear before Congress when subpoenaed.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Rep. Steaming Pantload of Hypocrisy and Bullshit has no interest whatsoever in governing. He, like TFG, only wants to RULE. That means seizing power, suppressing the voice of the people, and ensuring that the GOP becomes the permanent party in power.

Until that happens, we’re stuck with frequent instances of performative outrage, as in “How DARE Democrats believe they can hold TFG accountable…for anything??”

This is what happens when the occupants of the GOP clown car all believe they should be driving.
