Congress can pass a law which is already constitutional that the number of SC justices must match the number of circuit courts.
Then the R's ( should they ever return to power) would have to either break the law or change it. A democratic president ( even with a R majority in Congress) could veto it.
It MUST be done if democracy is to prevail. Screw being afraid of what R's may do.
Justice Uncle Thomas, in addition to being the most singularly corrupt justice to have ever soiled the bench, is also hands down one of the most incompetent.
I don't know if any of you follow Jack elsewhere and in case you don't, I sorrowfully have to share what his wife, Erin, wrote on Facebook. "... Jack passed away unexpectedly on June 11th, 2024 after a very short illness." My heart is aching because since I happened upon his former blog in 2008 Jack never wrote anything I disagreed with, indeed, he said so beautifully the things I was feeling. Rest in peace, Jack.

Fear of taking action that results in inaction is worse than any action taken.
Amen. 👏🏼
