Many Native American tribes were cognizant and completely accepting of non-binary gender realities. The French explorers called such persons "berdache," a term I've since come to learn is considered offensive by many. (So I mention it here only for historical reference.) And as Riley's own swim record shows, trans athletes do not significantly out perform their binary competitors & team mates. The person who put her in the the 5th spot was her self behind three others.
Yes, the whining by mediocre Reich-wingers can be difficult to stomach. Many of them believe that "but for transgender _____," they'd be on top, when nothing could be further from the truth. Riley Gaines is lucky to be mediocre, blonde, and somewhat well-spoken. She's still mediocre and still a whiner.
